WILLY FLECKHAUS: JOURNALIST, PAZIFIST, GERMANY'S FIRST ART DIRECTOR, which took place at WestLicht on April 9, 2025, curator Hans-Michael Koetzle explained how Willy Fleckhaus - “Germany's most expensive pencil” - shaped the visual culture of the still young Federal Republic in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
